Lists (with Filters)
Main content start
You can create Lists of People (by Research Area) that use the basics of a list, but they also include filtering options & a search function to help visitors narrow down information on the page.
People (Filtered List)
Once People have been entered on your site (either by a feed or manually), you can pull them into a Filtered List on a Basic Page. People can then be filtered by Research Area and you can also use keywords to search for people on the page.
People Filtered Lists can be displayed by either:
- Grid - All Filters - which includes:
- A list of taxonomy terms as checkboxes and
- Keywords - a search box to enter keywords to search the people on the page. This searches a persons name, and any part of their title.
- Grid - Keyword Only - just the search function for people names & titles on the page.
Notes
- When the left nav is present, the people grid is 2 people across.
- When the left nav is not present, the people grid is 4 people across.
- Lists can be adjusted to display a specific numbers of items (under Advanced Options inside a list), and specific lists can be created based on taxonomy terms.
- At this time, the titles for taxonomy terms on the list itself, Research Areas is not editable.
