Logo and site name settings

Main content start

Your website's logo and site name (aka "Lockup") does not usually need to be changed unless there is a Department name change or the logo has changed.  It can be updated using the Lockup Settings configuration page.

You have two options for the header:

  • Green header, logo + site title, bottom navigation (default)

  • White header, logo only, right navigation (for select sites)

To update the header

  • Go to Appearance > Settings > Stanford SDSS subtheme
  • Scroll down to Header Options.
  • In the Header layout variant drop down, select the style you want (see above).
  • If you want to use the hamburger (right collapsed menu) check that box.
    • NOTE: If you use this menu, you must also enable the "Use Drop Down Menus" option on the Basic Site Settings page. You can enable this after you have completed this step.
  • Click Save configuration.

To update the logo

  • To update the logo you will need to go to the Lockup settings.
  • Go to Configuration > System > Lockup Settings
  • In the Site Title field, enter (or update) the site title if needed.
    • NOTE: This won't show in the White Header option, but it is needed for SEO.
